Library Life Pulse: Intelligence to deliver exceptional library user experiences

Library Life Pulse is a student and academic staff user experience survey that helps university libraries to understand the changing needs, behaviours and experiences of their users. Our community of members use the intelligence and insight from the Pulse to drive positive changes in their services, and increase their impact on students’ lives.

How does the Library Life Pulse user experience survey work?

 

At the heart of the Library Life Pulse is an online, customisable, questionnaire designed by student experience experts working in partnership with university libraries. One of the key benefits of Library Life Pulse is that the modular questionnaire can be tailored to your users and aligned with your strategic priorities.  A set of core questions make up the benchmark question set:

Which Libraries are members and what are the community and benchmarking benefits?

Alterline’s unique collaborative model brings universities together to work on common challenges and build communities of innovative practice. Joining the Pulse community means you will have access to opportunities to network, share ideas and build links with other institutions at Pulse workshops. Each year, we’ll produce a benchmarking report showing your core results against other community members to facilitate shared learning. Is Library Life Pulse available in my country?

Library Life Pulse is currently being used in the United Kingdom,  America, Canada and South Africa and operates in English. We are keen to broaden our community of libraries and would love to hear from universities from around the world who might be interested in using the Pulse to benefit their libraries, we can also discuss translation as part of expanding the Pulse coverage.

What are the costs involved?
