More about the ‘International Student Belonging‘ project
The international student recruitment landscape is ever-changing and UK universities are constantly facing new challenges in their approach to attracting and retaining international undergraduate students.
Whilst a number of quantitative surveys and barometers exist to provide international recruitment data, there remains a gap in qualitative insights on international students’ feelings about being part of their learning community and how supporting that sense of belonging can impact during recruitment and at key transition points in students’ journeys.
Our unique qualitative insight report will provide that missing evidence and assist strategies to attract and retain international undergraduate students in an increasingly competitive market.
The smart, succinct, highly visual report has an Executive Summary and contains practical recommendations.
Report contents include:
- How international prospects take sense of belonging into account when choosing a university
- What messages would resonate with international prospects to foster a sense of belonging prior to entry
- The aspects of university life which foster a sense of belonging among international students and how this relates to their retention and success
- What universities can do to make international students feel part of a learning community at university
