New project announcement:

The Brain Tumour CharityPrint

The Brain Tumour Charity is at the forefront of the fight to defeat brain tumours. Their new five-year strategic plan is focused on a bold vision of “A world where brain tumours are defeated” supported by five key goals: doubling survival rates, improving quality of life, improving diagnosis times, helping more people and improving the NHS experience.

To get them closer to their vision the Charity has commissioned Alterline to generate new and credible evidence about the impact brain tumours have on the lives of people affected. This ground-breaking research will include a large scale quantitative survey followed by in-depth online diaries and video interviews. The report, due to be published in Spring 2015, will tell the stories of people living with brain tumours and evidence the impact the condition has on their lives.

“Every day as a charity we hear incredibly powerful and moving stories from the people we support. We’ve commissioned Alterline to capture, document and tell these stories. The report will help us explain to the public, policy makers and health professionals why our fight to defeat brain tumours and improve the quality of life of those affected is so vital.”
